The decade of the 1920s in America is commonly called the Roaring Twenties. This teacher-created resource has three concise parts that will help students learn about this ten-year period of American history. First, there are nine single pages covering these Roaring Twenties topics: Prohibition, technology, society, standard of living, the arts, sports and entertainment, gangsters, politics, and the stock market crash. Each page includes a brief reading (with images) and three-four assessment questions for that page. Following that is a crossword puzzle with clues taken from all nine pages that allows further practice for students. Finally, there is a single page with three extension project suggestions for use with your students to focus in on one area of the decade.
