Tips for using this turkey spelling activity in your classroom:

✅First, choose the spelling or phonics skill you’d like to use. Use a craft title included or use the editable titles to add your own skill.

✅Print the title and turkey and barn patterns.

✅There are a few ways you can add words to your turkeys! As a class, you could make a list of words with your targeted skill. The kids could pick from your group list and write on their turkeys. You could also have your kids think of words with the targeted skill and write them on their own marker board, sticky note, or scrap paper. Then you could check them before they write on their final project!

✅Have your kids color, cut, and glue their turkey scene onto colored paper! Add words!

✅If you have kids working on different skills, you could easily differentiate by giving them different craft titles!
