Item description
Celebrate the beginning of the New Year as students can write personal goal statements or resolutions! Vision Boards are a hands-on, creative way to focus on academic and personal goal-setting. These can be created at the beginning of the school year in August, the beginning of the new year in January, at the end of a school year to reflect on the year that has passed and make goals for the Summer or upcoming year, etc.
I ask students to choose one personal goal and one academic goal.
This resource includes:
✏️5 Pages of instructions for the teacher
✏️ Recommended four-day pacing guide for this project
✏️A full page rubric to help you grade the project
✏️ Half page rubrics for students to self-grade beforehand or monitor progress
✏️ 4 photos of completed vision boards to show students. This can be very helpful for them to see the “full picture” and brainstorm their own ideas!
Note: You will have to supply your own paper and magazine images.
