Practice five paragraph essay writing with this no prep writing project! Students will choose three of their own character traits to write about. The five paragraphs will include an introduction, conclusion, and three body paragraphs. This would make a great beginning of the year or back to school activity.

You may choose to model essay writing with this activity, or you may use this as an opportunity to gather a beginning of the year writing sample to gauge your students’ writing abilities.
