This slide deck is full of 28 daily warm-ups / bellringers for Black History Month for you to do whole class, or to assign individually.

We teachers know, of course, that teaching Black History should be integrated throughout the year, so this activity is is just adds a little pizazz to February!


Every day in February students will be introduced to a new and notable figure in Black History. Students will start by doing quick research on the individual, read a short bio about the person, and complete four different “I wonder” prompts.

These bellringers will get your students thinking about and talking about these notable figures in our history!

At the end of the month, the students complete a student reflection.
