This fun Christmas writing activity is great during the month of
December. As students anxiously await Christmas, this gets them
thinking about all of the hard work happening at the North Pole. This
is a two part project.

1) First, students will brainstorm
jobs that might be available in the North Pole. They will pick one job
and create a Help Wanted poster.

2) Students will review
their classmates’ posters and choose one of the jobs listed to apply
for. They will write a persuasive letter to the student telling them why
they should get the job.

You will find several different
options for the Help Wanted poster. One is a blank frame if you want
students to complete it completely on their own.
