Item description

Looking for a no-prep resource to help introduce or review common and proper nouns at the upper elementary level? This common and proper nouns resource in my set of grammar video lessons comes with a 9-minute video that can be used for instruction, review, or both; teaching slides (the same ones I use in the video), guided notes for students to complete as they watch the video, and a worksheet (and answer key) for additional practice!

During hybrid learning, I created a series of videos that I would upload to Google Classroom during each grammar unit. These grammar video lessons reviewed the content we covered in class and provided students with additional support as I walked them through examples. Students were able to re-watch as needed while they finished their homework or to review for the unit test, and both students and parents had good feedback about the videos and accessibility to content. These are extremely helpful, especially if any students are absent and need to catch up. They can be utilized within a flipped classroom and are also helpful if you have a substitute teacher in your classroom and want to easily continue grammar instruction in your absence!

Video Objectives:

✔ Discuss the difference between common and proper nouns

✔ Identify common and proper nouns in sentences
