This “Digital Alphabet Themed Virtual Scavenger Hunt” is fantastic for getting your students up and moving, especially whilst distance learning. This scavenger hunt can be used in morning meetings, as a phonics brain break, as a literacy ice breaker, as an introduction or review letter sounds, as a practice activity for beginning sounds in words… the possibilities are endless.

Display digitally by sharing your screen or using your smartboard.


Instructions to the hunt:

1. Listen to/read the instructions.

2. Find something that matches the description.

3. Talk about what you found.

4. Write/draw a picture of what you found.

5. Remember to return the object at the end.


NOTE: The are 2 different slide options to help with differentiation. One with picture prompts and one without picture prompts.
