Item description
This geometry CSI-themed Math Mystery activity will engage students by taking them on a journey to solve classifying shapes and angles problems and puzzles. Students narrow down the suspects by completing the math worksheets and activities, marking them off from the suspect list until one person is left. Perfect for May 4th.
This case includes
Clue 1: Types of angles in a triangle.
Clue 2: Missing angle on a line segment.
Clue 3: Parallel and perpendicular line segments.
Clue 4: Right angle clockwise and anticlockwise.
Clue 5: Properties of 3D shapes and objects
Answer sheets are included.
These math mysteries are designed for third fourth and fifth grade students. Could also be used with struggling sixth grade students that need a little extra work and reinforcement in geometry (or advanced, gifted and talented second grade). I also leave some of the mysteries for my sub teacher.
Math Mysteries are an independent escape room (or crack the code) type of activity where instead of using locks, students identify suspects with puzzles and word problems. This mystery is perfect all year round. Just print and go.
