Item description

This algebra 1 bundle comes with six different products that relate to simplifying radicals in different ways including with and without variables. Students will be given perfect and imperfect squares to reduce the radicals. Students can complete this activity through printable task cards, digital Google Forms and Google Slides, as well as digital Boom Cards. The 30 card task cards could be completed first as an in class assignment and then the mini quiz can be given after to ensure that students can simplify radicals including radicals that cannot be simplified.

This 10 question quiz covers simplifying square roots including some perfect squares, and one that is already simplified. Comes with a BOOM deck, google form and pdf for task cards.

BOOM and PDF format are 30 questions and are the same 30 problems. Google form is 10 questions that have a couple of repeats.

⭐Each question has four options and is self grading with each question being worth 5 pts.

❤️This was used in an Algebra 1b program (Algebra 1 over two years in a period schedule). Can be used in a regular Algebra 1, a Basic Algebra 1 or even as a quick radical review in later math classes. I have used this in Honors Geometry as a review of radical simplifications.

⚡Google form could be copied so that some students get the multiple choice and others have to leave a short answer. Set to release scores after manual review so you can give partial credit if you prefer. Also comes with a PDF version for easy printing in class.
