Item description
Sound Walls are such an important resource for teaching the science of reading to your students. A sound wall does the work of matching our articulation of speech sounds/phonemes to the letters/graphemes that represent those sounds. Beginning readers will be much quicker to find the spelling of “phone” if they can quickly look to see the sound they know it makes. Word walls have their place, but for beginners, a sound wall is easier to use and leads to greater success.
