Summary of “Sweet Treats”

Jill is up late baking four dozen cupcakes for the Spanish club bake sale to be held at school the next day, Valentine’s Day! The Spanish club was supposed to sell treats for the St. Patrick’s Day sale, but there was a last-minute change, and now she’s scrambling to do her part! To make matters more stressful, Baxter the dog gets into the trash and leaves a trail of sticky, pink paw prints behind him. Despite the chaos, Jill manages to finish her cupcakes with some help from Jake. The next morning, Dad surprises Mom with a bouquet of red roses. Not only is it Valentine’s Day, but it’s also Mom and Dad’s wedding anniversary! This is all too much “mush” for Jake to handle, and he decides to boycott all things Valentine’s Day. That is until Mom surprises the twins with a sweet Valentine’s treat just for them!
