Item description

This resource contains visual representations of what a frequency table, dot plot, pictograph, and bar graph look like and how the data is displayed. By having these posters in your classroom you will reinforce student understanding and guide them through proper steps of displaying data. Exclusive one page handout has all four examples, perfect for their take home folders. The posters show and remind the kiddos to use titles, symbols/pictures, key, scale, and labels when creating charts.

Posters come in B&W and color.

About the BOOOM deck included:

Different graphs can be used to represent the same data. These BOOM cards will show the children different types of graphs that they will encounter in quizzes and benchmarks. They will practice their reading and critical thinking skills by understanding what each label in the graph represents and taking that information to draw conclusions. Students will learn and review the frequency table, dot plot, pictograph, and bar graph. Includes a mini quiz.

Perfect for 1st and 2nd graders.

Enjoy!

When you purchase this product, you will receive a PDF with a link to the digital task cards on the Boom Learning Site (an external website). Cool!

About BOOM cards:

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks.

You may be eligible for a free trial from Boom Learning. If you choose not to stay on a premium account after your free trial, you will still be able to assign all your Boom Cards to as many students as you see fit using Fast Play pins (which give instant feedback for decks that are self-grading).
