Are you overwhelmed trying to meet academic standards, developing healthy social skills, practice skills and have fun? Save prep time and engage your students with these activities for individual, small group or whole group practice.  All activities are in colour and black and white!

Fall Math activities with a partner

• Elevates math to  a favourite time as students work together

• Regulates through movement when using those activities that get students out of their seats whether to walk the room or just sit on the carpet with a partner

• Establish classroom expectations during work time using the “I can…” chart. Use the classroom expectations to give students who are meeting expectations specific praise so that everyone knows what meeting those expectations looks like.  Watch those who struggle closely, and “catch” them getting it right so you can praise them too! 

• Assign partners randomly using the ten frame cards and create a climate where everyone is “on the team”. Save time because using the cards rather than picking partners for them. Then use the cards for one for the 11 activities I have included!
